B.C. INDOOR SOCCER LEAGUE

Registration is beginning for the 2008/2009 adult indoor soccer season in Prince George.

General Information:

 All games this season will be played at the Northern Sports Centre at the UNBC campus.

All teams will play approximately 16 to 20+ games throughout the season (exact numbers will depend on the number of teams registered in each division). This will amount to about 1 game per week.

The season will start on the week beginning October 19th and will continue until mid-April 2008.

Parking at the NSC is paid parking. Twenty-five cents per hour. Please keep some quarters in your car to avoid stiff parking fines.

We are changing the format of the games this year. All games in all divisions (except for the Coed Division) will be played 6 a-side (5 plus a goalie) rather than the 7 a-side format that we played last season. This will cut down on player congestion and will allow for a more open game

Women's Divisions:

Division 1 – Competitive. Most games will be on Tuesday’s (6:00 pm & 7:00 pm start times) or Thursday’s (7:30 pm & 8:30 pm start times).

Division 2 – Recreational. Most games will be on Monday’s (6:00 pm & 7:00 pm start times) or Wednesday’s (9:00 pm & 10:00 pm start times).

Division 3 – Recreational. Most games will be on Tuesday’s (6:00 pm & 7:00 pm start times) or Thursday’s (7:30 pm & 8:30 pm start times).

There may be occasional games on other days of the week as required to fit in all the games, but the majority of the games will be on the days listed above.

Men's Divisions:

Division 1 – Competitive. Most games will be on Sunday’s between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

Division 2 – Recreational. Most games will be on Sunday’s between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

Division 3 - Master's - 40 Years & older. Most games will be on Sunday’s between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Division 4 - Grand Master's - 50 Years & older. Most games will be on Sundays between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.

There may be occasional games on other days of the week as required to fit in all the games, but the majority of the games will be as listed above.

Coed Division:

Mixed men's & women's. Open to all players 16 & older. Recreational only.

Enter as individuals or in groups of up to 6 players. The league will form the full teams to try and keep them balanced and fun for everyone.

The league will also consider allowing the registration of full teams (12 players minimum), however we reserve the right to move players to another team at any time during the season to try and keep the coed league balanced. Please submit your team roster for approval prior to registering your team.

Coed Division games will be on Friday nights between 7:30 pm & 10:30 pm).
